Training and Education Workgroup
The MLP Training and Education Workgroup is looking to collect medical-legal partnership educational presentations and training tools from all partnership sites! Many partnership sites submitted resources prior to the Toronto MLP Summit in May 2007; please review this catalog of current resources. If your site has new or revised training and education resources not included in this catalog, please e-mail the resource along with your partnership site name to TEWorkgroup@gmail.com.

In response to suggestions from partnership sites, this spring MLPC convened four Working Groups to focus on core components of the medical-legal partnership model in order to identify best practices, current activities, and gaps in practice, research and resources. The Training and Education Working Group is co-led by Steven Blatt, MD, Medical Director of Syracuse Family Advocacy Program (Syracuse, NY) and Hope Tipton, JD, Legal Director, Project HEAL (Baltimore, MD). The MLPC Training and Education Working Group representatives are Megan Sandel, MD, MPH, National Medical Director of Training and Education and Pamela Tames, JD, National Legal Director of Training and Education.
