“Adopt-a-Health Center” Proposal (MLPC | Boston)

MLPC | Boston holds legal intake clinics at Boston Medical Center and at six affiliated community health centers.  Three of those health centers’ clinics are staffed by private law firms through the “Adopt-A-Health Center” program.  Pro bono attorneys, under the supervision and guidance of MLPC | Boston staff, conduct intakes and represent patient-families from the cases generated at these clinics.  This proposal outlines the clinic structure, the partnership itself, expectations of the medical-legal partnership staff and the law firm staff, and is the first step toward forging this type of partnership.
