Pamela Tames is an attorney who serves as National Legal Director of Education and Training with the Medical-Legal Partnership for Children in Boston.  Ms. Tames directs the legal advocacy education and training initiatives for pediatricians and allied health care providers, private law firm attorneys, and graduate and undergraduate student interns.  Ms. Tames has spearheaded MLPC’s clinical work in terms of education and school-related matters, and for several years in terms of health services, health insurance, and income supports for families whose children have disabilities or chronic illness.  In partnership with physicians and other allied health providers, Ms. Tames has spearheaded successful MLPC policy initiatives.  Her experience in the education policy arena was formally recognized in 2007 when she was awarded the prestigious Schott Fellowship in Early Education and Care.
